UCD Archives have launched a new online exhibition on the experience of republican prisoners after the Easter Rising. The exhibition, entitled, ‘”The finest men alive”: Documents of imprisonment & protest, 1916-17’, was launched in Richmond Barracks on 29 June 2017 and is hosted by Google Arts & Culture. Developed by UCD Archives and funded by the Irish Research Council, this online exhibition contains a wide range of documents written by prisoners detained in Ireland and Britain in 1916-17.
