The Chambers of Commerce of Ireland CLG (Chambers Ireland) celebrates its 100th anniversary this year.

While many affiliated Town and City Chambers were formed in the late 1700s and 1800s, a national organisation became essential after Independence.

The Centenary will be recognised by a flagship dinner in St Patrick’s Hall in Dublin Castle on the evening of Thursday 2 March, with An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar TD the guest of honour, in addition to the publication of a history of the organisation which will be unveiled on the night.
