An exploration of the attempts at disinformation by the Dublin Castle authorities, as the struggle for Independence gained in intensity.
This is the third lecture in a series to coincide with the exhibition From Turmoil to Truce, photographs of the War of Independence – at the library’s National Photographic Archive Meeting House Square, Temple Bar.
Author and historian Michael B. Barry, from West Cork, studied in Trinity College and lives in Dublin. He has worked on transportation projects both in Ireland and around the world. With a strong interest in history and heritage, Michael has written many books covering the War of Independence and the Civil War.
