The Unmanageable Revolutionaries @ Museum of Literature Ireland, 6.30pm
Margaret Skinnider, Hanna Sheehy Skeffington and Dorothy Macardle – a 1916 sniper and trade unionist, a suffragette and republican political activist, a nationalist propagandist and gothic fiction writer.
Dr Mary McAuliffe (UCD), Dr Leeann Lane (DCU) and Dr Margaret Ward (Queen’s University Belfast) will be in conversation with David McCullagh.

International Women’s Day in the Liberties
Community groups and business organisations in The Liberties have organised a range of events this week to mark International Women’s Day, including a guided historical walk throughout The Liberties on Saturday 7th March people with local historian Liz Gillis.

Rebel Red – the women of Cork 1920
On Saturday 7th March in St. Peter’s Cork, an afternoon of music and spoken word will celebrate the women of Cork and their revolutionary activities.
