25 March 2014: Directors of the National Gallery of Ireland
In 2014 the National Gallery of Ireland is hosting a series of talks on Directors of the National Gallery, including three that focus on the period 1914-1923, which forms part of the Decade of Centenaries. At 10.30am on Tuesday 25 March Dr. Brendan Rooney of the National Gallery of Ireland spoke on ‘Walter Armstrong (1850-1918): Directorship 1892-1914’. The lecture took place in the Gallery Lecture Theatre.
