Paul Hughes, ‘El señor Ministro’: Laurence Ginnell and the Dáil mission in Argentina, 1921-22

Dr Paul Hughes is a Mullingar-based journalist and historian who was awarded a PhD in History from Queen’s University, Belfast in 2018, for his thesis entitled ‘The Irish republican activism of Laurence Ginnell, 1916-23’.

A native of Delvin, Co. Westmeath, Dr Hughes also holds an MA in History from Maynooth.

This lecture will take place at 8pm in the Parish Centre, St Mary’s Road, Edenderry on 24th May.
