On 21 September 2013 an ecumenical service and wreath-laying took place at Crinkell Barracks, Co. Offaly, to commemorate those who served in the Prince of Wales Leinster Regiment. The President and Chairman of the Leinster Regiment Association, Major General David O’Morchoe and Colonel Peter Walton, respectively, participated in the ceremony, which was also addressed by Paul Kehoe TD, Minister of State at the Department of Defence.
