25 April 2012: ANZAC Day
Alan Shatter TD, Minister for Justice Equality and Defence attended the ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) Dawn Remembrance Service at Grangegorman Military Cemetery, Blackhorse Avenue, Dublin 7. The service commemorated Australian and New Zealand personnel who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.
The service was organised by the Australian Embassy in Dublin. Members of the Irish Defence Forces also participated, and the Minister laid a wreath bearing the national colours on behalf of the Irish people.
