On Thursday 9 October at 7.30pm a History Ireland ‘Hedge School’ debate took place in the Desmond Hall, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick, on the topic of ‘Limerick at war, 1914-18′. The debate was chaired by Tommy Graham, editor of History Ireland, and the panelists were Tom Toomey, Ruan O’Donnell (UL), Tadhg Moloney, and Matthew Potter.
