Hedge School logo1ModifiedOn Sunday 9 November at 2.30pm a History Ireland ‘Hedge School’ debate took place in the Abbey Arts Centre, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, on the topic of ‘The northwest at war, 1914-18′. The event was part of the Allingham Festival. The debate was chaired by Tommy Graham, editor of History Ireland, and the panelists were Jonathan Bardon, Jeff Kildea (UCD), Marc Geagan, and Quincy Dougan.
