9 April 2016: 1916 local history seminar, Dublin City Hall

On Saturday 9 April Dublin City Hall hosted an afternoon of talks and lectures exploring the ‘people’s history’ of the Easter Rising. Speakers will include Brian Hanley, John Dorney, Stephen McCullagh, Hugo McGuinness, and Maeve O’Leary. Music and drama were included. Learn more about the full programme.

The event was hosted by the Cabra 1916 Rising Committee and East Wall History Group, with thanks to Dublin City Council. The event was opened by Deputy Lord Mayor of Dublin, Cllr. Cieran Perry.
