3 November 2016: ‘Women and the decade of commemorations’ seminar, Maynooth University, Kildare
On Thursday November 3 the All-island commemoration network hosted the final one-day symposium in the ‘Women and the decade of commemorations’ series, which was intended to broaden the commemorative perspective beyond an Irish context. There were plenary talks by Anna Reading (KCL), Stef Craps, Conor Mulvagh (UCD) and Graham Dawson (Brighton), and a roundtable discussion with Sinead McCoole, Dr Laura McAtackney, and Dr Stefanie Lehner considered forthcoming commemorations of the Civil War and the Troubles.
The event took place in An Foras Feasa Seminar Room, Iontas Building, Maynooth University: learn more about the full schedule.
