28 October 2017: Open Workshop with Piet Chielens and Annick Vandenbilcke, ‘In Flanders Fields Museum’, Irish Linen Centre & Lisburn Museum, Lisburn
On Saturday 28 October, as part of the Irish Linen Centre & Lisburn Museum’s Autumn talks programme, Piet Chielens and Annick Vandenbilcke of In Flanders Fields Museum presented an open workshop on the experience of the First World War on the Western Front and its legacies. This session was of personal or professional significance to anyone with an interest in First World War history, and was a rare opportunity to quiz two experts on details of Flanders’ battles, to ask where more information can be found and to learn more about the work of In Flanders Fields Museum.
