28 January 2017: Leaving Cert History Conference: ‘Al changed, changed utterly: Revising the Rising’, National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, Dublin 7
On Saturday 28 January 2017 the National Museum of Ireland – Decorative Arts and History, Collins Barracks, Dublin 7, hosted a conference for senior cycle Leaving Certificate teachers and students entitled ‘All changed, changed utterly: Revising the Rising’. This will focus on the aftermath and legacy of the Easter Rising of 1916. Speakers included Donal Fallon (UCD), Liz Gillis (RTÉ) and Sandra Heise (NMI). The conference ran from 10am to 1pm, and concluded with a guided tour of the Proclaiming a Republic exhibition.
