27 January 2018: ‘1918: The politics of radicalisation’, Dublin City University

On Saturday 27 January 2018 Dublin City University’s School of History and Geography hosted its third annual public symposium charting and putting in context the events of Ireland’s revolutionary decade. The 2018 symposium was entitled ‘1918: The politics of radicalisation’. The keynote speaker was Professor Diarmaid Ferriter (UCD), while other speakers included Mark Duncan (Century Ireland), Maria Falina (DCU), Mark Jones (UCD), Leeann Lane (DCU), Ida Milne (Maynooth University), Daithí Ó Corráin (DCU), Pauric Travers (former President, St Patrick’s College, Drumcondra), and Fionnuala Walsh (UCD).

The symposium took place from 9.30am in DCU St Patrick’s Campus, Drumcondra.
