On Monday 26 June 2017 Maynooth University hosted the second one-day symposium arising from the IRC funded ‘Revolutionary masculinities’ project. This explores the significance of concepts of masculinity and male identity in public life and political discourse during the revolutionary decade 1912-23.
The symposium was held in the John Hume Board Room, 3rd Floor, John Hume Building, North Campus from 9.15am. The keynote speaker was Jane McGaughey (Concordia). Follow these links for more information on the ‘Revolutionary masculinities’ project, along with the conference programme.
