On Sunday 25 September 2016 the National Museum of Ireland – Decorative Arts and History, Collins Barracks, Dublin 7, presented a public lecture on the Battle of the Somme by Lar Joye, curator of Military History. This had a particular emphasis on the experiences of the 10th Royal Dublin Fusiliers, who were based at the Royal Barracks Dublin (now Collins Barracks).
