20 October 2015: Public Lecture by Prof. Roy Foster (Oxford): ‘Historians and the memory of the Irish Revolution’, Trinity College Dublin

Prof_FosterOn Tuesday 20 October Prof. Roy Foster (Oxford) gave the 2015 Edmund Burke Lecture at Trinity College, Dublin, entitled “‘An inheritance from our forefathers?’ Historians and the memory of the Irish Revolution”. Prof. Foster is Carroll Professor of Irish History at the University of Oxford and is currently Parnell Fellow at the University of Cambridge. His most recent book is Vivid Faces: the revolutionary generation in Ireland 1890-1923 (2014). The lecture took place at 7pm in the Edmund Burke Lecture Theatre, Arts Building, TCD.
