2-3 October 2015: ‘1916 agus an Ghaeilge’, University of Ulster, Belfast

Screen-Shot-2015-08-27-at-21.07.15-770x436On Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October a conference, ‘1916 agus an Ghaeilge’ (‘1916 and the Irish Language’) was held in Ulster University’s Belfast Campus. It addressed the significance of Irish in relation to the background, course, and commemoration of the Easter Rising.
The conference proceedings were conducted in Irish. Éigse Loch Lao is an annual conference jointly hosted by the Irish and Celtic Studies Research Institute and Cumann Cultúrtha Mhic Reachtain.
