19 December 2014: Special screening of ‘Joyeux noel’, Rathoath, Co. Meath
On 19 December 2014 the inaugural meeting of the Rathoath Film Club took place with a screening of Christian Carion’s Joyeux noel (2005), to mark the centenary of the impromptu Christmas truce that took place along the Western Front during the First World War. The screening was held in the Venue Theatre, Rathoath.
