12027734_10153009535056401_7174903508362723654_nOn Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September St Brigid’s Heritage Group, Ballinasloe, organised a major centenary event in Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, entitled ‘Ballinasloe 1915 reimagined’. This free programme of events incorporated a wide variety of performances, re-enactments, lectures and exhibitions intended to recreate and examine all aspects of life in Ballinasloe in the year prior to the Easter Rising of 1916.
