17 February 2017: ‘New voices in womens history’, Dublin City Library and Archive, Dublin 2
On Saturday 17 February 2018 Dublin City Library and Archive hosted a one day seminar entitled ‘New voices in women history’. 2018 sees the centenary of a critical moment in Irish history when women secured the vote. This seminar commemorated this event by highlighting historical research being carried out by a new generation of dynamic scholars, ranging from the seventeenth to the twentieth centuries. The seminar took place at Dublin City Library and Archive, 138-44 Pearse St, Dublin 2 from 10am to 4pm and was launched by Ardmhéara Mícheál Mac Donncha and Dublin City Librarian Margaret Hayes.
