17 February 2017: Irish Legal History Society Spring Discourse: ‘The Irish Convention’, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin 2

On Friday 17 February 2017 John F. Larkin QC (NI Attorney-General) presented the Irish Legal History Society Spring Discourse on ‘The Irish Convention’. This was the forum established in 1917 to facilitate negotiations between Irish unionists and constitutional nationalists, to explore the basis for an agreement that would permit the implementation of Home Rule; it was ultimately unsuccessful.

The discourse was presented in Regent House, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin 2 (the original venue for the Irish Convention).
