On Thursday 15 October 2018 a conference entitled ‘1918 Ireland: Political and social change’ took place in Loughrea, Co. Galway. This conference will explore a wide range of  issues relating to political and social change in the west of Ireland in 1918. It has been organised by Loughrea Memorial Group in partnership with Galway County Council.
