11 November 2018: Civic commemoration of 1918 Armistice, Cork City

On Sunday 11 November 2018 a civic commemoration took place at the Cenotaph, South Mall,  Cork City, to mark the centenary of the 1918 Armistice that ended the First World War. The Lord Mayor of Cork, Councillor Mick Finn, led the ceremony, which began at 10.15am. The ceremony was be attended by local public representatives, members of the Defence Forces, religious leaders, and community representatives.

The ceremony was open to members of the public to attend.
