Introduction to the Virtual Tour of the Pop-Up Museum, 'Women in Politics and Public Life, from 1918 to 2018'

We hope that you enjoy this narrated virtual tour of 'Women in Politics and Public Life, from 1918 to 2018' – an innovative Pop-Up Museum, curated by Dr Sinéad McCoole, which explores 100 years of women's participation in Irish politics and public service.

An initiative of the Decade of Centenaries Programme 2012-2023, the pop-up museum illuminates and celebrates the stories of over 300 very familiar and less well-known pioneering women, who have contributed significantly to Irish political life and public service since 1918.
