1 July 2014: Publication of History Ireland special issue on ‘Ireland & WW1’

On 1 July 2014 the July/August edition of History Ireland was published. Given the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War, this edition of the magazine is a special issue on the subject of ‘Ireland and World War One’. The commissioning editor for this special issue was Dr. Edward Madigan (Royal Holloway), and contributors include Keith Jeffery (QUB), Angus Mitchell (UL), Kevin Myers, Philip Orr, Gearóid Ó Tuathaigh (NUI Galway), Senia Paseta (Oxford), and Mark Phelan (NUI Galway).
